Responsible for setting up and operating the Test & Verification Division, Support Department, and for all R2Sonic customer's installations and training .  As Chief Technical Writer, responsible for the creation of Operation Manuals and other documentation for the installation and training of the R2Sonic customers. 1998 - 2008: RESON INC., Goleta, CA. USA

Senior Hydrographer

Responsible for the installation of all SeaBat Multibeam Echosounder systems, and auxiliary equipment, for RESON customers throughout Asia. Responsible for the training of all of RESONs customers, throughout Asia, on the theory and operation of the SeaBat system, the operation of the various software suites that are required for the collection of multibeam data, and the principles of multibeam surveying. Guest lecturer in multibeam surveying at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Conceived and created all survey procedures for Oceaneering Surveying operations throughout the world. Directed various high profile survey operations involving deep water survey of, and installation of, offshore pipelines and other construction projects in the Gulf of Mexico.

Involved in planning and completing major offshore survey and construction projects in the Persian Gulf and India (Bombay High and Neelem). Survey included all aspects of hydrographic support for pipeline and structure installation as well as specialised object recovery operations. Deep and shallow water cable route and pipeline surveys and installation

1989 - 1993: Wimpol Ltd contract surveyor

Survey Party Chief, Senior Hydrographic Surveyor, Survey Instructor

Over saw trans-oceanic hydrographic surveys for the installation of submarine fibre-optic communication cables. Major concentration was on the R.V. Ocean Surveyor, equipped with medium and deep water multibeam systems. Cable route surveys also include shallow water landing point surveys, through out the world. Duties included training surveyors in multibeam techniques and equipment operation. Involved in various and many cable installations for Cable and Wireless Ltd.

1975 - 1989: Offshore Navigation Inc. New Orleans, LA. USA

Senior Surveyor, Instructor, and Systems/Software testing

Surveyor for world wide seismic survey operations. As senior surveyor was tasked with the training of newly hired surveyors as well as designing testing procedures to evaluate new systems and software. Also operated as ONIs trouble shooter for difficult survey operations. Seconded to Wimpol UK in 1986 to assist in trans-oceanic cable route surveys. During the tenure at ONI, various leave of absences were granted to pursue a degree.

Operated, repaired, and maintained SHORAN navigation equipment for world wide seismic operations.
